Bible verses about love are not at all far removed from the love all people refer to. From love for the environment, to love for animals, to love for things and to love for the fellow human being, it is no different. But people seem to misunderstand. Most of the time, they are referred to as obsessed. Well if that is the case, then all of us are obsessed over something or someone. Really it can't be helped, we always fall in love. Only, this can be destructive when not properly channelled. The love for a dog or a tree or a fashion accessory can still glorify God. Why must they be judged for a good thing? Isn't it clear in the Bible that love has no limits? If it is clear then, then we have no right to put a limit on the love that many people show. Loving is good. All we should do is tell them to channel it to God's glory.
